Low clouds hung over the forested ridges at Koloa Forest Reserve on Kauai, Hawaii, with a green anole and a rose-ringed parakeet among the leaves. A warbling white-eye fed on a red flower, and two red-crested cardinals stood on grass. A shovel-headed garden worm was on rough bark among leaves and twigs. Vines covered the trees across the hills, and a narrow dirt trail ran above a forested valley.
